This needle-punched knit is made from raw silk, a material that has been tightly twisted.
Silk has excellent moisture absorption, moisture release, and heat retention properties. Raw silk does not have the luster of regular silk, but it is characterized by its natural texture with irregularly placed small neps, a rustic feel, and a unique surface texture.
The key is the balance between the delicate knit and the rustic texture.
